Florida Lemark Corporation recently completed the new construction of an 18- unit sustainable workforce housing development in Miami. The 3-story, 5,400 square feet facility is located in the Allapattah neighborhood and was designed by the architectural studio, Steven L. Cohen and Associates. The sustainable workforce housing development consists of an 18- unit building with exterior circulation, consisting of 15-unit studios (1 bedroom and 1 bathroom apartments), and 3-units of 2 bedrooms and 1 bathrooms. The project will be seeking LEED Silver Certification or better, with a focus on high-quality envelope construction. The 12 month project was completed in three phases; early scope, core and shell, and full-build out construction phase services.
